Honey and Blood Orange Gin Spritz
This is an extremely bright and versatile drink — use vodka in place of gin, or any citrus-flavored spirit, or switch out the seltzer for blood orange Italian soda!

- 2 ounces gin (or vodka if you prefer!)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 blood orange
- 2 ounces seltzer
What You’ll Do
- Slice the blood orange into rounds, leaving the peel on, and put half aside. Place 4 or 5 large blood orange slices into a cocktail shaker and muddle using the back of a wooden spoon.
- Pour the honey into the shaker and muddle again.
- Add the ice and gin and shake, pour into a glass with ice.
- Top with seltzer and garnish with a slice of blood orange.
