On Nov. 19, VALLEY hosted its much-anticipated launch event. The night was filled with show-stopping outfits, club music, a stunning runway with models and PR product bags for attendees. This event, nothing short of iconic, showcased some of the most breathtaking looks. Let’s dive into the details of those standout outfits and the personalities who brought them to life.
Kylee Owens
Kylee stunned in her long Zara cowboy boots, paired with her thrifted Ed Hardy green skirt and sleek black jacket. This embodied her outfit inspiration. She was inspired by confident cool girls who have an added edge. As a second-time semester stylist for VALLEY, her look truly reflected the magazine’s bold and creative spirit.
Molly McCauley
Molly channeled her outfit’s energy into “Get Your Freak On” while rocking a borrowed thrifted dress from her friend’s closet—because we all know friends’ wardrobes are fair game. Underneath, she wore a SKIMS bandeau top, completing the effortless cool look with a touch of glam.
Sofia Monteforte
The beauty of Sofia’s outfit lies in the story behind it. Her mother, who lived in Staten Island before moving to Manhattan, collected these clothes along the way. While working as a hairstylist in her 20s, her mother curated a wardrobe that Sofia feels envisions a “Sex and the City” vibe. Sofia served a look that could easily be worn by Carrie Bradshaw or Samantha Jones. Currently, she is a Web Writer for VALLEY.
Emma Froelich and Rachel Deegan
Business Director of VALLEY, Emma Froelich, made her statement wearing an iconic Jaded London dress. Rachel Deegan, a Social Media Graphic Design Lead, wore a top from Shein, a skirt from White Fox and a gem from her mom’s closet from 15 years ago. With this outfit, she proved that moms’ timeless pieces never go out of style.
Reeya Kulkarni
Reeya, the Copy Editor at VALLEY, put together a dynamic and chic outfit. She started with a classic black H&M dress, layered it with a thrifted red corset and a white button-up shirt for an effortlessly cool vibe.
Leah Pelaez
Leah sparkled in a sequined golden dress from Shein. Her inspiration was drawn from Alexandra Saint-Mleux’s iconic green two-piece. Leah knew a gold sparkly dress would perfectly suit the VALLEY aesthetic, and she captured the magic of the evening.
Michelle Cabrera and Sydney Prokopovich
Sydney Prokopovich wore a Zara top and an Amazon skirt, showcasing a polished and cohesive look. Her Dior purse complimented her outfit. Michelle Cabrera, a member of VALLEY’s Public Relations and Social Media team, brought sophistication to the event. She wore a black top from Zara, an Amazon skirt and completed her look with a Louis Vuitton purse.
Alyssa Opris
Alyssa Opris, VALLEY’s Editor-in-Chief, exuded bold presence and emotion in a gorgeous leopard-print dress from Urban Outfitters. Her look captured the energy and excitement of the evening, cementing her place as one of the event’s standout stars.
