Aspyn Ovard has officially relaunched her Tarte eyes and cheek palette. While on the #TrippingWithTarte trip with Tarte Cosmetics, she finally showed off her revamped palette, which she has been hinting at on her TikTok for a few months. The palette was originally launched in 2018, during YouTube’s bigger days, and when her account was dedicated to her and her ex husband, Parker Ferris. A lot has happened between her first launch and this new one –– three children, a divorce and a new persona reflected in her social media. This revamp and relaunch shows off this new chapter in Ovard’s life, while still remaining her true self at heart.
The Original Launch
When Ovard originally launched her palette with Tarte in 2018, her hair was bleach blonde and her presence on social media was much different. In her YouTube video titled “CELEBRATING MY NEW TARTE PALETTE,” she is seen in L.A. with Ferris and other family and friends.
The event was very 2018 Tarte – decked out with extravagant decorations, snacks, succulents and sneaker painting. The girls sported sundresses with colorful patterns that were very Coachella. Ovard and Ferris were married at the time of this launch, but hadn’t had their three girls yet. Throughout the video, she looks very young and excited to be working with a beauty brand as she shows her family around L.A.
In Between Palette Launches
Ovard began hinting about her divorce in August of 2024 on TikTok, a few months after her third daughter with Ferris was born. Eventually, in September she made the announcement, which shocked a lot of her audience. Moving from Utah to California, she began her new chapter as a single woman.
Ovard and Ferris were known for making couple and family vlogs that were posted all over their YouTube. Their audience saw their relationship go through different periods throughout the years – from dating, marriage, to now, divorce. The couple had wed when Ovard was 19 and Ferris was 20. Now at 28, Ovard’s life has turned away from her former Utah-family-vlogger outlook.
The New Palette
In her new “divorce era,” Ovard decided to relaunch her old palette, the same colors and packaging –– except changing a couple of the shade names to reflect her new single persona. She discussed her palette more in January 2025 while on the #TrippingWithTarte influencer trip to Turks and Caicos.
After discussing the relaunch and the palette’s update, Ovard explained that 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the fight against childhood cancer.
The palette features blush, neutral colors with a few sparkly shades. The packaging is a shiny gold shade adorned with pink flowers on the front above “ASPYN OVARD.” The palette is currently available at Tarte Cosmetics’ website.
