With the return of Y2K fashion, the major comeback of Coach is here. The brand has always been desired in some capacity, due to its broad range and accessibility to a wide variety of consumers, lately, it’s popularity has skyrocketed.
Coach is notedly nostalgic for many handbag lovers who lusted over the brand’s designs in the late 2000s. As many Y2K-inspired trends have circled back into style this past year, Coach has been able to release new bags that play into these trends. Many of which are bags that have been redesigned from past archival Coach designs, giving them a vintage flair while also being fresh and new.
Because of this, VALLEY suggests a Coach handbag is a must-have for this summer and seasons to come. Luckily, Coach recently dropped a variety of new designs — here are some of our favorites:
Swinger 20 in Signature Jacquard— $195
The Swinger 20 bag is a part of The Coach Originals, a collection of “archival-inspired bags that celebrates our legacy and authentic New York heritage.” The Swinger 20 is a redesign of a 1980s bag and is both trendy and timeless — shop it here.
Pillow Tabby Shoulder Bag 18— $395
The Pillow Tabby bag brings back to life an archival 1970s Coach design. The plush leather design, along with the bright pink color (it also comes in ivory and lime green) makes it the perfect bag for spring and summer.
Ergo Shoulder Bag— $395
The Ergo, which is also a part of The Coach Originals, and embodies the 1990s classic silhouette. The bag comes in black, ivory and natural brown and is the perfect neutral bag to add to any outfit, while still being trendy in its hobo style silhouette. Shop it here!
