Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and for many, this can either be exciting and fun, or it can be, well, awful. For those of us who don’t have a significant other to share the day with, it can potentially become a day we dread. In honor of the upcoming holiday, Valley has compiled some our favorite TV show characters to share how we single people feel on Valentine’s Day.
When you wake up expecting it to be a nice day, but then you realize it’s Valentine’s Day.
When you fully understand you’re alone.
When you find alternative plans to the classic Valentine’s dinner date.
When you regret drinking that entire bottle of wine.
When you decide to buy that pint of Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and eat your feelings.
When you show up at your friends place and cry to them about your single life.
When your friends respond in the most compassionate way possible.
When you realize you don’t actually need a date on Valentine’s Day to validate your self-worth.
You’re perfect the way you are!
Have fun today and love yourself!
Go out and have a fun day with your friends! Nothing can stop you from enjoying life, especially not a Valentine’s Day as a single lady (or guy!).
And most importantly, even though you’re single on Valentine’s Day, at least you’re not George Costanza.
