Designers such as Jeffrey Campbell, Dolce Vita and Chloé have this trend on lock. Celebrities including Kate Bosworth, Sienna Miller and Diane Kruger have been sporting the Susan Studded Ankle Boot from Chloé this season. Do you want to match your favorite celebs without dropping $1,245? Not to worry, designer Vince Camuto makes a “look-alike” bootie for $132.

While $132 is probably still out of a typical college student’s budget, you can look to a more wallet-friendly source. Urban Outfitters carries designers such as Ecote, Dolce Vita, DV by Dolce Vita, Jeffrey Campbell and Kelsi Dagger. Ankle booties from these designers usually range from $49 to $250, depending on the brand. Ecote and DV by Dolce Vita tend to be on the cheaper side, while Kelsi Dagger, Docle Vita and Jeffrey Campbell are a bit pricier. Stores like Forever 21, Target and DSW also have ankle booties for reasonable prices.

Wear leather lace-up ankle booties with a short dress to add some Southern flair to your style, or with colored skinny jeans and a chunky sweater for a cozy fall outfit. Better yet, buy studded booties to give off that cool, rocker vibe.

As seen in numerous street style looks for this fall, ankle booties are an essential to any fall wardrobe.  After all, life is short, buy the shoes.
