Who is Diddy?
Diddy is a rapper, music producer and owner of Bad Boy Records. He was born in Harlem, New York on November 4, 1969, and has gone by several different monikers including P. Diddy, Brother Love, Puff Daddy and his legal name, Sean Love Combs.
He has won a total of three Grammy Awards and has been previously nominated for 14 awards. Perhaps he is most known for his songs “I’ll Be Missing You” and “Victory.”
Additionally, he was friends with The Notorious B.I.G. and can even be seen in the music video for “Hypnotize.”
Diddy is a father of seven children and primarily resides on Star Island in Miami, Florida.
A Slew of Crimes
Throughout the years, Diddy has been involved in numerous crimes. He and his bodyguards were charged with assault in 1999 after beating two people at Interscope Records over video footage used in a microscope.
Later that year, Diddy and his then-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez were found in the center of a nightclub shooting in New York City. He and J.Lo were arrested for possession of weapons and bribery charges at the crime scene.
According to the Rolling Stone, in 2003, Diddy and two others gang raped a female victim in his recording studio, which he denies. There have also been various rumors that Diddy was involved in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur.
In 2015, Diddy was arrested for assaulting the head football coach at the University of California, Los Angeles over a dispute about his son, who played for UCLA’s team.
Recently
“The Love Album: Off the Grid” was released in 2023. Nearly two months after the album’s release, his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, accused him of abuse, sex trafficking and rape. Each allegation can be found in the lawsuit that she filed in November of 2023.
In February 2024, Lil Rod filed an additional lawsuit against him for forcing nonconsensual lewd sexual contact and for allegedly hiring prostitutes during the making of “The Love Album: Off the Grid.”
While Diddy has remained adamant that he is not guilty of these crimes, damaging evidence remains to be released each day.
“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
Sean (Diddy) Combs
On March 25, 2024, his two homes on Star Island and in Los Angeles, California were raided by Homeland Security, tied to an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
In a video, one of his neighbors even claims that he has seen minors being bussed over to his sprawling L.A. mansion.
Even as details continue to emerge, Diddy was spotted bicycling around Star Island on March 30 with his twin daughters.
