Calling all fragrance fanatics! Ariana Grande has teamed up with Ulta Beauty to release a new perfume collection. The collection, called Mod, features two new scents and are the newest additions to Grande’s ever-growing perfume and makeup brand.
It’s safe to say that Ariana Grande has a “scent-sational” touch for fragrance. Her creative nature has made her a popular name in the cosmetic industry along with her recent release of R.E.M Beauty in November of 2021. Her beauty line comprises Grande’s go-to makeup pallets, liners, lip glosses, skincare and more.
Grande recently posted an advertisement of the new collection on her Instagram along with a fun and retro themed video teaser. The singer’s inspiration stemmed from the Mod era of the ‘60s.
The video features Grande riding a glossy-white motorcycle while dressed in vintage 60s galore. She’s covered in a gorgeous all-white tunic dress along with gloves and hoop earrings. Her second outfit is a stunning pink two-piece with adorable pigtails and a light pink headband.
The new collection includes two scents: Mod Vanilla and Mod Blush. Mod Vanilla has notes of dark plum, pink fresshua, orris and white praline while its base consists mainly of vanilla and cocoa butter. Mod blush will have notes of Italian bergamot, passion fruit, dark raspberry, rose, magnolia and woods. Blush’s base has musk, ambrox, dreamwood and sandalwood.
“I really wanted to do something different and exciting for my fans by launching two new fragrances at once, and I hope they love them the way my team and friends and I do,” Grande told Women’s Wear Daily. “We have gone through many, many tester bottles over here. Mod Vanilla and Mod Blush have quickly become two of my favorites in our beautiful fragrance family, and I’m counting down the days till you can smell for yourself.”
This isn’t the first time she’s dominated the fragrance market. Her fifth and most famous fragrance, Cloud, proved that Grande was talented in realms other than music. Cloud was named the popular women’s fragrance of the year in 2019 at the Fragrance Foundation Awards.
Prior to this, Grande has released other scents that have made quite the impression on the fragrance industry, with her debut perfume Ari in 2015, accompanied by the limited edition scent Frankie in 2016, Sweet Like Candy in 2016, Moonlight in 2017, Cloud in 2018, Thank U Next in 2019, R.E.M in 2020 and finally God Is a Woman in 2021.
