Fall has finally arrived, bringing with it some of the most iconic autumnal attire for the chilly season. Whether you’re rushing to your 8 a.m. or spending a night out on the town, Valley put together a list of some fall fashion trends that have been taking over the social media and street scene lately.
Red, Red and More Red
Red is the shade of the season; a classic statement color that can also be paired with almost everything. From trench coats to jumpsuits, the color red can transform any ordinary clothing piece to fit this year’s trend.
H&M and Urban Outfitters both currently carry red coats that look high-end but cost half the price. For an everyday look, try the Red Short Coat by H&M and for a more daring look, the Urban Outfitters Cropped Satin Trucker Jacket will be sure to turn heads. Before the warm weather disappears for the year, sport the Urban Outfitters Bezel Wrap Belted Jumpsuit for the perfect in-between seasons look that will incorporate the fall red into your late summer wardrobe.
High Knee and Glitter Boots
Boots will always be in style once the crisp, autumn weather rolls around, and each year brings with it a new boot trend. This year, it seems the boot trend is the higher the boot, the better.
Pairing a power red or black over-the-knee boot with a sweater dress or denim skirt will supply some edge to the perfect autumn outfit. While the over-the-knee boots from high-end brands could really break the bank, Valley found some inexpensive options to save your wallet while keeping you on-trend.

While the over-the-knee boot trend is huge at the moment, another rising boot trend is glitter boots. We can all thank Rihanna for starting this trend, after modeling the Saint Laurent Glitterati boots that took over the runway and all social media accounts.
The original Saint Laurent Glitterati Boots could cost you a whopping max of $10,000 while Miss Selfridges by ASOS sell a similar pair for only $38. Style with some skinny jeans and a leather jacket for a fashionable night out.
Oversized Cardigans
Who doesn’t love to wrap themselves up in a huge sweater that feels like a blanket? Now, you can rock that oversized grandma style cardigan knowing it is a high-end fashion trend. The exact style is sported by celebrities and models like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez.
Most of the cardigans are featured in the traditional fall colors: burnt orange, red, mustard yellow and black. The BDG Charlie Cardigan by Urban Outfitters is the perfect replacement for the high-end versions worn by your favorite fashion icons.
’70s Vibe
That ’70s look is coming back and Valley is very on board with this style. From high-waisted flair jeans and culotte pants to turtlenecks and oversized denim, the fashion era that will always be remembered for its ionic style has finally made its way back to the runway and our closets.
While raiding your parent’s closet to find some hidden gems is an option for incorporating this trend on a budget, Urban Outfitters is featuring a whole section on their website dedicated to the fashion era. Some of Valley’s favorite pieces are the Izzie Striped Mock- Neck Sweater and the Denim Ruffle Mini Skirt, paired together for an epic ’70s inspired outfit.
