October has finally arrived which means it’s time for all things fall when it comes to kitchen. Whether it’s for an early morning breakfast or a late night snack, VALLEY has put together four fall-inspired smoothie recipes that are sure to start fall off on a healthy note.
Pumpkin Spice Chai Smoothie
What You’ll Need
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla greek yogurt
- 1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup vanilla chai
- 4-6 ice cubes (or more for a thicker consistency)
What You’ll Do
- Freeze fruit overnight or at least 6 hours before blending.
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy at home or on the go!
Apple Crisp Smoothie
What You’ll Need
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 fresh or frozen apple
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 1/4 rolled oats
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup apple cider
- 4-6 ice cubes (or more for a thicker consistency)
What You’ll Do
- Freeze fruit overnight or at least 6 hours before blending.
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until the ingredients and rolled oats are well mixed.
- Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy at home or on the go!
Cookie Dough Smoothie
What You’ll Need
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 1/8 cacao nibs (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
- 1/4 rolled oats
- 1/2 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1/8 vanilla or almond extract
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice!)
- 4-6 ice cubes (or more for a thicker consistency)
What You’ll Do
- Freeze fruit overnight or at least 6 hours before blending.
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until the ingredients and cacao nibs are well mixed.
- Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy at home or on the go!
PB&J Smoothie
What You’ll Need
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 1/8 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 2 or 3 blackberries
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice!)
- 4-6 ice cubes (or more for a thicker consistency)
What You’ll Do
- Freeze fruit overnight or at least 6 hours before blending.
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy at home or on the go!
