Festival Season: Which Will You Choose?

One of the main contributors to an unforgettable summer is the music that comes along with it. Whether you are on the beach, out with friends or on your commute to work, music is essential to making summer days the best days. Summer is just around the corner, and although it’s both exciting and sad to leave friends behind when you return home, music festivals throughout the summer will always give you an adventure to look forward to.

Firefly, June 20-23

Firefly music festival never fails to be an unforgettable weekend. This year, Panic! At the Disco, Travis Scott and Post Malone will be headlining and blasting their hits throughout the Woodlands of Dover, Delaware. Other performers include Tyler The Creator, Zedd, Kygo, Death Cab for Cutie, Passion Pit, Vampire Weekend, DJ Snake and many more. The three-day music fest is unlike most as it provides an immersive camping experience from Friday to Sunday. You can bring your own camping supplies, choose to “Glamp” (stay in an air-conditioned tent with beds provided,) choose a pre-set tent, bring an RV or book a hotel nearby. Food trucks galore and dancing in the sunshine with your friends makes Firefly an adventure you won’t want to miss.

Lollapalooza, August 1-4

Taking place at Grant Park in Chicago, Lolla 2019 secured Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Twenty One Pilots and The Strokes as headlining artists.  The lineup also features talented artists Tame Impala, Flume, The Chainsmokers, J Balvin, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill and Hozier. The four-day event in the windy city offers music from eight stages, over 170 bands from all over the world, and delicious, fresh festival food, drinks and sweet treats. One-day tickets, four-day tickets, group tickets and cabanas are still available to enjoy with your friends. Lollapalooza brings together crowds of thousands of enthusiastic, like-minded people in for a remarkable festival experience.

 Woodstock 50, August 16-18

Woodstock 50 is being celebrated in Watkins Glen, New York this year to remember the original 1969 Woodstock festival which took place 50 years ago. Headlining the festival this year are The Killers, Miley Cyrus, Santana, the Lumineers, the Raconteurs, Dead & Company, Chance the Rapper, Sturgill Simpson, Jay-Z, Imagine Dragons, Halsey and Cage the Elephant. Celebrating peace, love and music, Woodstock is a three-day music and art experience that will allow you to see your favorite artists and to discover new ones.
