THON is here! Approximately 592 dancers will be participating this year, and all of those students must have big hearts to be participating in such a great event … and just maybe their care for others comes from their star sign.
Zodiac signs, which we all can say we have at least heard of, are symbols created by the Babylonians that came from their observation of constellations and stars in the sky.
These signs are said to predict the personalities and characteristics of an individual with that star sign, and the signs are assigned based on birth date.
With 592 dancers and 12 different zodiac signs with different personalities, how would each zodiac participate as a dancer at THON?
Aries (3/21 – 4/19): Eager Beavers
Aries are ambitious people, so they would be fully prepared to participate. They hate to be restricted and are very eager people, so when they are ready to start THON — they are ready to start THON! It will be hard to keep them from standing. They are also pretty competitive, and will most likely make something within THON, competition with their fellow dancers, such as “who can perform the best line dance.”
Taurus (4/20 – 5/20): Comfy And Cozy
Tauruses love to be comfortable wherever they are. They would definitely show up in the same sweatpants they have been wearing for the last three days. Once THON begins, they will be ready to go the whole time because Taurus’ are hard to stop once they have begun something. Although Tauruses are a bit more relaxed, they are hard-workers, so they will be ready to dance the nights away at THON!
Gemini (5/21 – 6/20): Life Of The Party
Geminis would have no problem learning and memorizing the schedule of THON, as they are very intelligent. They are super energetic, like to tell witty jokes and can be the life of the party. They are social butterflies and love to talk to anyone, so they will be perfectly fine associating with other dancers. Geminis are passionate people, so they will be sure to do as much as they can to promote THON.
Cancer (6/21 – 7/22): Ready To Roll
Cancers are great at picking up the vibes in the room, so they will be super peppy at THON given the energy. Cancers tend to be creative individuals, so dancing in THON is the perfect creative outlet. They like to know the schedule and routine of things they attend, so they are certain to follow the THON schedule and be on top of it if anyone asks them “what’s next?”
Leo (7/23 – 8/22): Leaders Of The Pack
Leos are natural leaders and will definitely be the dancers at THON trying to keep everyone’s energy up. They are very enthusiastic and have bright personalities that can light up a room. Leos tend to love being the center of attention, but at THON, this will help their dancers as they will probably be the loudest and peppiest of all the star signs. They love to make friends, so they will be talking up a storm to other dancers.
Virgo (8/23 – 9/22): Sticking To The Schedule
Virgo dancers will be sticking to the schedule at THON, that’s for sure. They are very organized, logical people and will memorize the line dance and make sure everyone knows it like the back of their hand. They are also very kind and supportive to others so they will hype up other dancers.
Libra (9/23 – 10/22): Chatty And Cheerful
Libra dancers at THON will be magnetic and draw fellow dancers to them just by being themselves. They love harmony and social interaction, so they will have no difficulty creating balanced relationships with other dancers. They tend to be cheery people so they are the perfect star sign to be dancing at a happy event.
Scorpio (10/23 – 11/21): Passionate Purpose
Scorpios tend to be a little secluded, but since they are there for a good cause, Scorpios will blossom up to their fellow dancers. Since they’re so passionate, they are always willing to volunteer (THON!), which says a lot about their character.
Sagittarius (11/22 – 12/1): Dance Like No One Is Watching
Sags will dance to the Line Dance as hard as they can without giving it a second thought about who is watching. They carry heaping amounts of optimism within them and will be some of the friendliest dancers you will find at THON. Sags love to explore new things, so if they are dancing for the first time, they will totally be immersed in all that THON is. Sags will also be the comedians of the night.
Capricorn (12/22 – 1/19): Money Makers
Capricorns are natural-born leaders who love to work their way to success, so don’t be surprised if they raise some of the most money out of any students for THON. They are determined and once they put their mind to something, they will achieve it. They are super playful and youthful and will love to dance with the other dancers at THON.
Aquarius (1/20 – 2/18): Outside The Box
Aquariuses are extremely passionate about THON, as they are enthusiastic about changing the world. They may add some unique accessories to their THON outfit, or think out of the box to get donations because they like to be original and innovative. They do not like boredom, so choosing to become a dancer in THON was no problem for them.
Pisces (2/19 – 3/20): Friendly Face
Pisces are very creative people, so when they say they are dancing at THON, they will actually be dancing the entire time. Pisces are extremely friendly and will befriend every dancer they come across at THON. They will be the first to help anyone who may have a question about the two nights, and they are very selfless.
Although these signs are all different, they have one thing in common — their love for helping others by joining in an amazing event.
