Each season gives new flavors; sweet marshmallow flavors in April, pumpkin spice in October and of course peppermint in November and December. This year, there are new flavors and things to look for as the holiday season approaches.

Who doesn’t want to curl up to watch lifetime movies and Christmas classics with an appropriate snack?

Trader Joe’s has several new items to their seasonal assortment of food. One new installment is the “Everything but the Leftovers” seasoning. This spice blend is the perfect Thanksgiving right around the corner. It is described as the “archetypal flavor of stuffing.”

As for treats at the store, Trader Joe’s also has a cookie decorating kit that is festive for the season — They are turkeys that can be decorated with icing and candy.

Another creative item Trader Joe’s has come up with is their kettle-cooked stuffing chips, however, they may be difficult for you to get your hands on.

An honorable mention from Trader Joe’s as well is their new instant cold brew. This makes making the morning coffee for iced coffee lovers much easier. Add a little bit of peppermint mocha creamer to it, you won’t regret it!

Starbucks also has some new items that are added to the holiday menu. They launched their drinks this past Friday. You just missed their annual holiday cup giveaway, however, it is never too late to order some festive drinks to make it feel like the holiday season.

Some fan favorites that have returned include the peppermint mocha and the caramel brûlée latte. Some other ones include the toasted white mocha and the eggnog latte.

Costco is even offering a wine advent calendar, which includes 24 half bottles of wine for around 100 dollars if you are looking for a little “Christmas cheer.” The wines come from all over the world; France, Sweden and Bulgaria just to name a few.

Your local grocery store also has Hershey’s Build-A-Snowman chocolates and hot cocoa-flavored goldfish, but be on the lookout for more holiday flavors to come this month — ’tis the season!
