It’s times like these where we wish the Kardashian’s new Hulu show was already up and running. Although Kim has remained pretty silent, Kanye has begun to make the couple’s marital issues public.
Kardashian cousins, Chicago West and Stormi Webster had an adorable joint birthday party! Unfortunately, what should have been a great memory for the whole family was clouded by drama. Kanye West took to Instagram Live to stress his grievances about the birthday party.
In the Live, the rapper says he was not allowed to know where his daughter’s birthday party was, and went to great lengths to find the address of the party. West said he called Kim, their nannies, and even Khlo´é Kardashian’s ex, Tristan Thompson, to find out the location of his daughter’s party.
After Kanye’s Instagram rant, photos surfaced of the rapper at his daughter and niece’s Barbie/L.O.L Doll-themed party. In a second video, Ye thanked Travis Scott, Stormi’s father, for giving him the address to their daughter’s joint birthday party, and Kylie Jenner for letting him into the event.
Sources at the event spoke to Page Six about Kim Kardashian’s thoughts on the matter. They say Kardashian was shocked by her estranged husband’s allegations, and that the ex-couple had previously agreed to have two separate birthday parties for their youngest daughter.
“They pre-agreed to have two separate events and it was his idea. Kim was shocked that he went on Live accusing her when it was his idea to begin with to have two separate parties,” says the source. “She was going to have hers early in the day and he was throwing Chi her own separate party. No one was trying to stop him from coming.”
The Kardashian bashing by West did not stop there. In the artist’s new song, “My Life Was Never Eazy,” he attacks the whole family’s parenting style.
“I got love for the nannies, but real family is better. The cameras watch the kids, y’all stop takin’ the credit,” raps West. Despite West himself being in a new relationship with actress Julia Fox, he even goes on to throw shade at Kim’s new boyfriend, SNL star Pete Davidson.
“God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” raps West.
We may not have a new “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” season to show us the behind-the-scenes details of Kimye’s divorce, but we can only hope the cameras were rolling at this Kardashian-cousin’s party for their upcoming Hulu series.
