Matt Czuchry of CW’s “Gilmore Girls” is also rumored to join the cast. The show’s executive producer, Ryan Murphy, is known to create a distinct tone unique to each season.

What we know

“American Horror Story Season 12: Delicate,” will reportedly spin an alarming tale based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel “Delicate Condition.” Although the book isn’t hitting shelves until this August, it has been described as “the feminist update to ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ that we all needed”. In the novel, a young woman is convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.

Kardashian showed off her acting in 2021 as a host for an episode in the 47th season of “Saturday Night Live”. The episode was relatively well-received, and apparently impressed writer and producer Ryan Murphy. She has also appeared in shows such as “How I Met Your Mother,” “CSI: NY” and “30 Rock.” In the past, the series has had several notable guest stars and featured roles, ranging from one episode to one season. Stevie Nicks and Lady Gaga have been just two of many A-listers to make their mark on this pop culture phenomenon.

Does Ryan Murphy need to be stopped?

The announcement has gotten mixed feedback online, with some excited to see Kardashian tackle the horror genre and others claiming this is the season they stop watching the show for good.

This is far from the first time Murphy has taken heat for the casting or content of AHS. With established regulars like Jessica Lange departing after season 4, many fans have been disappointed with the effect their favorites leaving has had on the show. Actors like Colton Haynes and Lena Dunham have been at the center of numerous controversies, but have gone on to star in the show nonetheless.
