From working class background raised by a single mother, I stand before you an artist, an actress, a sister, and a daughter and I believe that it is important to name the various intersecting components of my various identities because I am not just one thing and neither are you,” says the beautiful Laverne Cox as she takes the stage at the Alumni Hall in the HUB Robeson Center on October 8th.
