90s heartthrob Justin Timberlake is once again giving his fans what they want. After taking some time off from music and acting to take care of his newborn, he released “Can’t Stop the Feeling”, which will inevitably be a summer hit!
Timberlake became every girl’s daydream as a member of the legendary boy band NSYNC. Long before he and current wife Jessica Biel married, Timberlake and Britney Spears were the ultimate 90s power couple. C’mon…no one will ever forget their matching denim outfits on the red carpet.
With the start of the new millennium NSYNC officially split up, but that was by no means the end of Timberlake’s career. He released his first solo album in 2002 swooning old fans and new fans with his undeniable talent. Serious props to JT for surviving the boy band split—not many have.
Throughout his career, he has won four Emmys, nine Grammys and countless other awards for his music. For a guy who has been in the industry for about 20 years, he has never disappointed. Today, he continues as a singer, songwriter and actor, appearing in popular romantic comedies like “Friends with Benefits” and “Bad Teacher”.
As if JT could not get any better, one of his best friends is none other than the equally as charming, The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon. This dynamic duo has appeared on SNL together and Timberlake has been a guest on The Tonight Show several times. If you haven’t checked it out already, absolutely watch their “History of Rap” videos— you won’t regret it.
Over the past year, Timberlake has been taking a break to spend time with his first son, Silas Randall Timberlake. And while we can’t help but love JT for putting family first, we have missed his music just as much as we have missed him. Luckily, his hiatus is officially over and Timberlake has brought ‘sexy back’ to the music industry with his new song, “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” This feel good, upbeat song is the perfect way to commence summer 2k16. Take a listen, and add it to your Spotify playlist pronto!
Clearly, we will always fan girl JT with or without the boy band.
