The Series

Written by Elle Kennedy, the “Off-Campus” series focuses on four college hockey players who delve into different relationships: Garrett, Logan, Dean and Tucker. Throughout each boy’s book, we explore more about their female counterparts and how each of their relationships develop: Hannah, Grace, Allie and Sabrina.

These books have made its mark on female readers, turning into a bestselling collection that introduces multiple spin-off series such as “Briar U” and “Campus Diaries.” The romance has struck big on TikTok, giving mass attention to the steamy scenes, charming hockey players and chaotic drama.

Prime Adaptation

Officially confirmed in October 2024, an Amazon Prime Video series adaptation has kickstarted for the book series. Louisa Levy will be the official showrunner, as well as executive producer alongside Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen. The series is speculated to debut in 2026, however there has not been any confirmation.

The first season is focused on the first book in the series, “The Deal.” The book follows Garrett and Hannah’s relationship; As Garrett begs her to help boost his GPA to avoid getting benched for the season, Hannah struggles with a scarring past and an important musical showcase. They strike up a deal, unprepared for what is it come between them.

Although casting has just wrapped and filming is just beginning, anticipation has been building for fans and readers alike. In fact, Kennedy posted about a casting call on Instagram in February 2025, sparking fans to submit their own casting tapes amidst TikTok. The casting team addressed how no acting experience was required to audition for either of the roles.

Casting Predictions

Many on TikTok have declared their own “fan casts,” however have high hopes for Garrett Graham being played by Brian Altemus from “Grand Army.” As Altemus is the most accurate depiction of Garrett, others have also pointed out that YouTuber Steph Bohrer is most similar to Hannah Wells.

As for the rest of the cast, as filming begins for season one, production has unofficially held off from casting for the other characters. As audiences anticipate the Amazon Prime adaptation, production is hard at work to give everyone the “Off-Campus” universe we know and love.
