It’s time to stop throwing your necklaces into a shoebox and calling it a day. If you actually do that, you should be ashamed.
Be rid of your bare, bland walls and add some character to them. Let’s kill two birds with one stone here and hang your jewelry on them, too! You may be thinking, “No…is it even possible?”
Yes. Yes, it is.
Wall Frames
Long necklaces and dangly earrings can be tricky to organize. Starting simply, you can hang an arrangement of picture frames on the wall. Replace the glass and cardboard with cork boards and hang your necklaces and bracelets on thumb tacks.
For dangly earrings, wrap some burlap over an old, wooden picture frame, but make sure to take out the glass and cardboard again! Stick your dangly earrings through the material and voila!
Driftwood
Welcome some nature into your room with driftwood necklace holders. With minimal effort necessary to create this decoration, it is the perfect bedroom accessory. Twist about five metal hooks into the piece of wood and hang your most eye-catching necklaces off them!
Chicken Wire
If you are in the mood to be Crafty McGee for a day, then take some time to make a chicken wire jewelry holder! This may sound a little odd, but they get the job done when it comes to keeping your jewelry tangle-free!
The trick is to find connected picture frames, as seen above, and take the glass and cardboard out of them. Check in your local craft stores, you may be able to find them there. Then, hot glue the chicken wire around the edges of the frames, cutting it in the right places to fit your frame shapes. Let it dry, and you have a jewelry hanger! This is ideal for hanging dangly earrings and clasp necklaces off of.
