People’s Choice Awards Fashion Review

Last weekend, The 2017 People’s Choice Awards brought hundreds of celebrities together for one iconic night, filled with lots of singing, dancing, laughing, and most importantly, posing in some of the fashion industries most luxurious and exclusive labels.

Valley decided to uncover the best dressed men and women of the night.

To kick off the elegant extravaganza, Blake Lively proved that any take on a little black dress will never go out of style. Her sparkly, flapper inspired mini perfectly complimented her long blonde, beachy waves. Paired with lace up black pumps with bejeweled detailing and a clutch, Lively showed the world that even after having two kids, you can still rock the red carpet. The little fridge bombshell dress is part of the Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

Who says you have to wear a dress when strutting down the red carpet? Kristen Bell proved to us all that you can be comfortable while still looking fierce. The nominee for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress worked a houndstooth pattern jumpsuit, with white embroidering detail on the chest. She certainly blew us away with the metallic silver onesie. Paired with her Eva Fehren earings and chopped waves, Bell not only won for best comedic actress, but also for favorite jumpsuit of the night.

Another trend setter had to be Ruby Rose, whose take on the neon pantsuit will go down in history as nothing less then iconic. The 30 year old actress could not look any sexier in a plunge style blazer, paired with bright orange matching skinny jeans. Not only was her outfit perfectly tailored to fit her, it showcased her class and sophisticated style  that only she could truly pull off. She paired the outfit with a dark, plum lip that has everyone raving and trying to find dupes for the daring shade. She finished off her look with a sleek hairstyle and classic black pumps.

Last, but certainly not least, Valley would like to recognize a man who simply gets sexier with age. John Stamos showed the world that you can wear navy blue and black and still turn heads. With a smile whiter than the clouds and hair shinier than a diamond, Stamos rocked the traditional menswear button-up suit trend that had all of the ladies swooning.

“Uncle Jesse will always have my heart, but Blake Lively looked classy as ever in her little black, fringe dress. She is the epitome of style,” says freshman Carly Pfaff when asked about who won best dressed.

So, who do you think had the ultimate style at The People’s Choice Awards this year?
