Take a break from studying and take a stroll to the Garner Street Parking Lot this Saturday for Pop Up Ave, Centre County’s only outdoor urban-style flea market.
Held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., there will be over 50 vendors, free arts and crafts by The Makery and 2000 Degrees, and music. Check out the full list of vendors here.
Pop Up Ave isn’t just an oasis for local vendors. It will also bring several vendors from across the state of Pennsylvania to State College for the day. From home decor to jewelry to bath products to baked goods, Valley knows there will be something for everyone.
This isn’t the first time a Pop Up Ave called the Garner Parking Lot home. Pop Up Ave was first introduced to State College last fall and welcomed over 1500 residents, according to a press release.
“We were so happy with the turnout for our first event and received so much positive feedback. We’re thrilled to keep it going,” said Andrea Groznik, cofounder of Pop Up Ave.
Can’t make it this Saturday? No worries! Pop Up Ave will be back in State College on Sept. 23 and Dec. 9.
So close your textbook for an hour, step out of the library for a bit and head to Pop Up Ave. Maybe you will find the perfect end-of-the-semester reward to buy yourself!
