Get in loser, we’re going shopping — no, not at the Nittany Mall! Pop Up Ave is returning to the streets of Happy Valley. On Saturday, Sept. 22, this shopping experience will make its highly anticipated grand return to the streets of State College. Although it isn’t new, Pop Up Ave provides all the aspects we love about our weekly trips to the farmers market — spending time with friends outside shopping for new finds — and gives it to us in the form a pop-up flea market.
Shopping
Pop Up Ave started in 2016 with inspiration taken from New York City, where fleas like this regularly populate community calendars. Pop Up Ave has now become a great event for the community to get out and get involved in a fun way that spices up your weekend. Nearly 50 vendors will be in attendance selling clothes for men and women, vintage jewelry, accessories, art and many other things. Many of the vendors offer vintage and eco-friendly products for everyone to browse throughout the day.
