Put a Theme on It

VALLEY loves a themed party at the frats as much as the next … but what about the nights when there is no theme? The nights when the attire is up to you. When each one of your friends arrives at the pre-game with an entirely different vibe than you and nobody bats an eye.

Rummaging through your draws and settling for whatever outfit you feel like wearing for the night is fine, but what if there was a way to spice up your Friday nights with your friends? To make the same frat parties and bars feel a little more exciting.

Put a Theme on the Night

Yes, you read it right … make your own theme for the night! Just because the party doesn’t have one does not mean the night can’t. Whether you decide your theme a week in advance or hours before you need to leave, setting an established vibe for the night makes it all the more thrilling.

These themes do not have to be extravagant, and you do not need to go out and buy outfits or decor for it, it’s simply a way to set the tone for the night and get amazing pictures!

How To

It’s simple, really. First, get to the group chat and make a decision. Does everyone want to wear all black? Are we going for a 90s vibe? Would people be opposed to everyone in funky pants? This is for you and your friends to decide.

Once the theme is settled you can take it as far or as small as you would like. You might only have similar outfits and take pictures together that look adorable! Or you could take it all the way. Say you settled on the 90s. Someone could make a playlist with all 90s hits for the pre-game. Another friend could gather the supplies to make drinks inspired for the evening. There is no need to go crazy here, however, diving into the theme could bring the vibes up even higher.
