Cell phones on silent and kill the lights; The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back! Victoria’s Secret has officially returned to the runway during this past Tuesday for the first time since 2018. With three performers and 50 models from over 25 countries, the show had fashion lovers gathered on their couches in their Victoria’s Secret robes ready to be blown away.
With only a few confirmed models, viewers had the anticipation of the long awaited returns of iconic Victoria’s Secret runway models. Gigi and Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Kate Moss and Candice Swanepoel made their iconic return to Victoria’s Secret this week.
Opening the show, Gigi Hadid stunned with a pink slip romper, and expandable wings that had viewers’ jaws on the ground. As they anxiously waited to see which supermodel would open the show, seeing Hadid made everyone scream. It marked her first appearance since the last show in 2018.
During the show, we saw unique styles of VS Angel wings, some timeless and beautiful, some different and more creative. Adriana Lima wore wings that were less angel and more butterfly, but beautiful.
While Cher sang, Kate Moss strutted down the runway in black flowing wings and a beautiful matching long lace slip dress. The never-aging beauty joined the runway again with her daughter, Lila Moss.
The show ran for about 45 minutes with three performers: Lisa of Blackpink, Tyla and Cher. Lisa opened the show as a performer wearing a black metallic two-piece bra and skirt. Tyla sounded amazing as ever, while wearing a stunning pair of elegant VS wings and a gold and silver bra and bottoms set. Lastly, Cher made an amazing appearance wearing a matching sparkling black top and pants.
Closing the show, was the ever iconic Tyra Banks. The “America’s Next Top Model” host and supermodel made her long awaited return to the Victoria’s Secret runway after 19 years, with her last appearance in 2005. Banks strutted down the runway in black sparkling leggings, an amazing silver studded corset and a floor length black cape.
Fans of Victoria’s Secret loved to see the successful comeback of the runway show, but the only thing missing was the iconic “fantasy bra.” These bras often cost around $2 million and are typically the highlight of the show.
