Outer Banks recently announced that Season Four is coming out on Oct. 10 for Part One and Nov. 7 for Part Two. The official trailer came out in late September, and fans were intrigued by the ending quote: “I thought things were different now, but it really is just us against the world,” hinting at a new plot and a new adventure.

Although the ending of last season was wrapped up as the Pogues were honored for solving their 500-year-old mystery of finding the Royal Merchant and El Dorado, some things remain unresolved, and the public has questions. If there seems to be a new adventure, what is going to happen after Sarah Cameron cheated on John B?

How are the Pogues going to be treated after solving the mystery everyone has been trying to solve? What will it be like for Sarah, Rafe and John after the deaths of their fathers? In the very end of season three they showed a female waking up with Rafe Cameron, who is this girl ?

There are many conspiracy theories and predictions about what is going to happen. We have seen a lot of character development from all of the Pogues and the Kooks. Common issues include trauma and greed.

In the case of Rafe Cameron, he has always felt he needed to prove loyalty to his father due to a lack of attention from him. Rafe never coped in the best ways. In a Forbes article where the actors were asked to give their characters advice, Drew Starkey, who plays Rafe Cameron, stated, “Go to therapy! Yeah, go to therapy.”

On the other hand, Sarah Cameron had other struggles, including family betrayal, abuse and a feeling of isolation or not being understood.

Reflecting on this, Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah Cameron, stated, “Hmm! Some advice? I don’t know—sometimes, think before you act or do something. Just give it like maybe 15 seconds more thought. Maybe that—let’s take it back for a second. Let’s take a few breaths. Deep breaths! Deep breaths actually for everyone!”

We could talk about the characters’ trauma as they all have their own stories — JJ being hit and abused by his dad, Pope dealing with expectations and Kiara being misunderstood and manipulated by her parents.

However, one thing they have shown is that no matter what, they are always there for each other. Whether coping by finding the gold or exploring a new adventure, the Pogues are a team. The Kooks are a smaller circle of the elite; however, they are still rebellious, just not in a free-spirited way like the Pogues.
