Spring Look Book: Olivia Jade Style

Although Olivia Jade was born and raised under California’s year-round sun, something about her look and aura symbolizes spring. Everything from her soft, sculpted light features to her style selections reflect the same sense of delicate, pretty newness spring exudes.

Olivia Jade Giannulli is a well-known public figure and YouTuber who has been creating and uploading videos to YouTube for about eleven years. As of late, her content could be categorized as primarily lifestyle focused, with elements of fashion and beauty inspiration. Throughout her YouTube career, Giannulli has expressed her love and admiration for fashion openly on all of her platforms. This comes as no surprise since her father, Mossimo Giannulli, is an American fashion designer who founded the clothing brand Mossimo.

Olivia Jade is creative in her approach to fashion. Her choices reflect her natural existence in that they’re clean, sophisticated and chic while also often incorporating pops of color or different details to add personality and uniqueness. Her fashion is inspiring year-round but specifically stands out in spring because of who she is and how she styles herself.

Pastel Babydoll Dresses

Olivia Jade isn’t the only person putting on baby doll dresses during spring; she just has an eye for picking the most precious ones. A babydoll dress, in itself, resembles the feeling of spring. Delicate and flowy, young and light. It’s the perfect casual dress to throw on when the spring sun warms your skin enough to be revealed.

Loafers

One thing about Olivia Jade: she’s known how to style loafers since she was in high school. Loafers aren’t the obvious pick for a spring look, but the way Olivia Jade incorporates them in her day-to-day outfits could change that normality. Since loafers aren’t necessarily warm enough to protect your feet from winter winds, and are almost too heavy to add to a summer outfit, they’re the most functional in springtime weather.

Olivia Jade wears loafers with mini shorts, jeans and dresses; creating looks that are still casual and comfortable, but boujee and chic.

Colorful Knits

Olivia Jade’s sister, Bella, started a knitwear company called The Bitch Knits where she sells her handcrafted knitted creations. Although her pieces lean more on the pricier side, the idea of a colorful knit as the statement piece in a springtime outfit just makes so much sense.

For functionality, knits are perfect for spring weather. They are breathable, yet warm and look so cute when thrown over almost any outfit. A knitted cardigan is undeniably ideal for a daytime to nighttime situation in the spring. The knits Bella designs, and Olivia wears, serve as great inspiration for how to represent spring’s colorful vibrance in a fashionable way.

Headscarves

Headscarves can seem intimidating if you don’t have the right inspiration to refer to, but once you’re open to the idea, they can elevate your springtime outfit immensely. Olivia Jade is one to add a cool hat, balaclava or headscarf to a simple fit to give it the uniqueness that makes it her own.

If you wake up one spring morning not feeling like putting in much effort, but also wanting to wear something you feel confident in, a head scarf is the perfect finishing touch. Not only will it protect your hair from the occasional springtime gust of wind, but it will reimagine your look.
