Know anyone with a gripping story, a unique experience or captivating research? The TEDxPSU is now accepting nominations online from now until Friday, October 6 for their annual conference in February 2018.
For seven years, TEDxPSU has been sharing enlightening talks with Penn State and the State College community. The goal of the TEDx conference is to share informing stories on a wide range of topics. Last year’s event hosted speakers from all different backgrounds, including a puppeteer from Brazil, a model from London and two Penn State students!
If you or anyone else has “ideas worth spreading,” Valley encourages you to share your story with the community!
“Our main event is not until February 2018, but TEDxPSU works year round to ensure the best experience for our audience possible,” says Co-Curator Deanna Spaniel. “A large part of that experience will be chosen from this nomination form.”
The organization seeks to showcase the best research, ideas, and values that Penn State students, faculty, staff, and the community would like to share. The goal is to encourage speakers to come together and engage in conversation, share new perspectives and connect in a group setting. Their reach extends outside of the Penn State Community, across the United States, and around the globe.
To nominate yourself or someone you know to be a potential speaker at the TEDxPSU conference in February 2018, go online to www.tedxpsu.com/nominate by this Friday, October 6th.
