There was no shortage of spooky creativity when it came to celebrity Halloween costumes this year. There was a fair share of classic looks, and there were even some celebs dressed as each other. Here are the styles getting the most buzz.
1. Ciara and Russell Wilson as Beyoncé and Jay-Z
From one iconic celebrity couple to another, singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks player Russell Wilson recreated Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “APES**T” music video down to every last detail. They even added another power couple to the video, Michelle and Barack Obama.
2. Heidi Klum as a Bionic Zombie Alien
It is hard to argue that anyone takes Halloween more seriously than Heidi Klum. The supermodel has never failed to impress with her outrageous costumes, and this year you can watch the entire 14-hour process unfold on her Instagram.
3. Lizzo as a DNA Test
The rapper took a line from her own girl power jam and made it into her own cute, hilarious and absolutely iconic Halloween costume.
4. Nina Dobrev as Billie Eilish
Dobrev killed it this year with her accurate representation of singer Billie Eilish. Everything from the Louis Vuitton accents to the green hair paint was right on point with the “Bad Guy” singer’s angsty aesthetic.
5. Jessica Biel as *NSYNC Justin Timberlake and Justin Timberlake as a giant microphone
This celebrity couple brought nostalgia and comedic value to the Casamigos Halloween party this year. Inspired by her husband’s look for the 1999 American Music Awards, Biel donned a metallic blue jumpsuit and a curly haired wig. Timberlake looked adorable as the microphone by her side.
6. Kim Kardashian as Elle Woods
If anyone can get “Elle Woods” trending on Twitter 18 years after the release of Legally Blonde, it’s Kim K. The Reality TV star even re-created Elle Woods’ Harvard Video Essay and it was impressively spot-on. Kardashian was previously compared Elle Woods when she announced she planned to take the bar exam. What, like it’s hard?
7. Khloé Kardashian as Cruella de Vil and True Thompson as a Dalmatian
Khloé Kardashian dressed up as the most fashionable Disney villain along with her daughter True as one of the 101 Dalmatians. Kardashian adapted the costume for a more Hollywood-glam look, featuring a black and white dress with exaggerated shoulders and a thigh-high slit. True, on the other hand, was cozy and cute in a black and white spotted onesie and Dalmatian inspired face makeup.
8. Stormi Webster as Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner’s purple Versace Met Gala ensemble has served as inspiration for several costumes this Halloween — Jenner’s daughter Stormi was no exception. The tiny replica of the dress may or may not also be Versace and we would expect nothing less.
9. Madison Beer as Jennifer Check
For Halloween this year, the “Hurts Like Hell” singer slayed Halloween as Jennifer Check (played by Megan Fox) in the movie “Jennifer’s Body”. Beer also dressed up as the same character in 2017, that time wearing a pink hoodie and jeans similar to what Fox was often seen wearing throughout the movie. This year she dressed up as the demon possessing her.
10. Kevin Hart as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Comedian Kevin Hart dressed up as his best friend and “Jumanji” co-star, “The Rock,” for Halloween. He even showed up to The Rock’s house to do a little trick-or-treating! You can see what happened in the video Hart posted on Instagram.
