Yesterday concluded THON weekend, a hallmark of Penn State and arguably one of the most important celebrations this school hosts. The BJC was filled with music, love and enthusiasm all weekend long, as well as some great outfits. Valley got on the floor to search for THON’s best dressed.
Ian Wetzel, a second year MBA student, sported one colorful cape as he danced on the dance floor. Ian says he dancing for his cousin Allie, because she is a constant inspiration for him.
Other dancers, such as Lisa Halat, a senior who is dancing for Impact, went for comfort and chose to don some cozy PJs.
There were also some strikingly cute outfits out on the floor. Emilie Betters, a junior, dancing for the greater Allegheny area, who wore a pink tutu and tucked a complimentary Hello Kitty ballon into it.
Le’Asia Brown, a sophomore dancing for Penn State Schuylkill, was spotted in some colorful accessories, with a tutu and a coordinating headpiece.
And Amy Stunder (left) and Montana Stigger(right), two fifth year senior students dancing for Everyday, had some fun, matching rainbow hats.
While Crystal Rodriguez, a fifth year senior dancing for Foto, carried around a little Penn State mascot that wore coordinating colors with her own outfit.
Atlas members, Josh Zolman and Kate Robinson, both seniors, were sporting some complimentary funky outfits out on the floor. Kate was decked out in a feather boa and Josh had on a silky emerald cape.
Emily Steigerwald, a senior dancing for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, had not only trendy cheetah print socks but also a wonderfully bedazzled cape FTK.
