Kayla Nakonechni is well-known on campus as the girl with brain cancer, but how well do you know the real her? She’s an avid crossword puzzler, a sucker for romance novels and a pediatric cancer patient who wants so desperately to give back to the community that has given her so much. Kayla’s story is one of turmoil and tumors, Nittanyville and Nicholas Sparks, but most importantly, the struggle to survive. Life is tough, but she is tougher.
