Influencer Indy Blue, best known for her unique style and the individuality that she presents on social media, hosted the wedding of the century. The authenticity and sense of freedom she portrays is what truly lures fans in. There’s no doubt that the elegance of her wedding looks reflect the refined eye she has for fashion.
Blue gained immense popularity on social media through the travel and influencing content she posts on YouTube and Instagram. In addition to traveling, she is also passionate about her videography business, where she films and photographs weddings and other events.
This isn’t the first time Blue has been praised for being a style icon. She’s the co-founder of Lonely Ghost, the brand famous for the, “Text me when you get home” and “I love you say it back,” clothing that has spread like wildfire over social media. This has made Blue a big name in fashion.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jackson Dunford, on Oct. 11, 2022. The couple has been on and off for nine years and they have a two-year-old son, Seven Dunford. By happy chance, they rekindled their love and got engaged in August 2021.
It’s safe to say the wedding was nothing short of spectacular, and fans were wishing they were invited. The dress was arguably the centerpiece of the entire night. Blue was styled in a white, custom, feathery gown with an unconventional twist. Few would wish to wear a hat with their wedding dress, but she certainly owned it.
For her welcome party, she rocked a unique, all-white, country-chic look. It was a mesh, ruffled masterpiece! Beneath the dress were black, embellished cowboy boots with eccentric decals down the sides.
Strutting with elegance, Blue was decked in a glamorous, red, old-Hollywood maxi-dress for her rehearsal dinner. Puffy sleeves never disappoint, and this dress was no exception. The added volume catches the eye and boosts this classy, red look to perfection!
Kiss matching bridesmaid dresses goodbye! The idea to mix and match dresses is as original as it gets. Blue wanted each bridesmaid to have their own unique dress that flatters them best. Although each dress was dramatically different, she was still able to make her bridal party look elegant and cohesive. It’s like she does this in her sleep!
For her reception, she was styled in a delicate, pearl, satin dress, paired with ankle-strap heels. The piece is by Danielle Frankel, known for her incredible bridal pieces and timeless collections. Blue disclosed that she tried this dress on in November of 2021 and immediately fell in love.
How could we ever forget about the groom? Our sincerest apologies Mr. Dunford! Contrary to the rest of the outfits, Blue reveals he picked this one out all by himself. Dressed in classic black suit tied together with a Prada bolo tie, he followed the country-chic theme perfectly, all while leaving room for the bride.
Honorable Mentions
This incredible wedding was unique down to the very last detail!
Below are some of VALLEY’s favorite details of the night!
Jack was absolutely set on painting “Indy” on the bottom of his cowboy boots, just like “Andy” from Toy Story. I’m not crying, you are.
Clearly, classic monogram name tags weren’t enough. Blue took it a step further…well more like 10 steps further. Each place setting was a self-portrait of every guest, exquisitely drawn by Chloe Bruderer, a custom illustrator. Someone hire India Blue for all weddings!
Vanilla or chocolate might be the obvious choices when choosing a cake flavor, but India Blue got creative once again. She had two separate cakes, one with THC and one without. You could say this was the all time “high” of the night.
