You know and love it. Truthfully, I don’t know anyone (literally anyone) who doesn’t love Glossier You. No one can get enough of this smell whether you’re wearing it or not. In fact, this iconic scent has won numerous awards and was announced as Sephora’s #1 selling perfume this year.

Now, Glossier has gifted its fans with You’s long-lost sisters, Glossier You Doux and Glossier You Rêve.

The new iconic duo is priced at $78 each and can be purchased at Glossier.com or at any Sephora.

I deemed these three perfumes siblings not because they’re Glossier or the adorable similar packaging, but because they all share the same base. All of them are formulated to create a unique scent for everyone, so each person smells a little different when wearing it.

Now, what you really came here for, let’s get into the new scents.

You Rêve

Rêve is the fun sister out of the bunch. This is the one that will be out all night. It’s a Wednesday and someone wants to go out? Rêve has an 8 am the next day but she’ll be there and still somehow managing to make her class flawlessly. The perfume has a slightly more fruity scent with notes of plum that make it more unique. But still possesses a mature scent with musky, buttercream, toasted almond and other warm notes. Like its siblings, Rêve’s scent is centered around you. Once the fragrance hits your skin, it’s its’ own scent, embodying you.

You Doux

Doux is the more sophisticated one. If she was a Sex and the City character, she is 100% Charlotte York. She’s sweet and classy but at the end of the day knows how to have fun. This soft fragrance is blended with a few smoky and few creamy notes to create the perfect combo. There are hints of violet and wood that perfectly embody the soft vibe Doux brings to the table.

Personally, out of the two, and while I hate to pick favorites (I’m a broke college student, I must) I’m reaching for Rêve. I love that one fragrance can offer a fruity yet musky scent at the same time. Also, let’s be real, I’m not looking for something too mature like Doux. I just graduated from Victoria’s Secret body mists a few years ago. But, once I’m post grad, searching for the man of my dreams in New York feeling like Charlotte, I will be reaching for Doux.
