Water Tastes Better Colorful and Cold

Water has been a necessity for survival since the beginning of time. The marketing for water has evolved over the years and become a money grab for sustainable water bottle companies. If this is the same water from the cavemen, then why is it such a big deal now?

That is because water is not just water anymore. There are different temperatures, brands of purified water and reusable water bottles to carry them around in.

But don’t worry, this article is not about the history of water.

What’s the Difference…?

Genuinely what is the science behind water tasting better in an obnoxiously large and colorful water bottle? The reusable water bottle epidemic came and swept overconsumption with people buying the same exact water bottle in more than one color.

In fact, water bottles have become a part of people’s outfits. They are not just there for hydration anymore, but hey, whatever works, works. Doctors and health professionals beg their patients to drink more water, and finally, it wasn’t the dehydration concerns that inspired people but the fact that you can dress your water up.

When you narrow it down the big three right now (and subject to change) are the Stanley, the Owala and the Hydropeak bottles. When each bottle serves the overall same purpose you would think that there could just be one water bottle company to supply the population. But no, because one water bottle has cuter colors but leaks while another one does not look as aesthetically pleasing but offers a sip-and-swallow option.

Buying a reusable water bottle is a serious choice not to be taken lightly. You need to take into account all of the colors and convenience of the water bottle. The price is a factor as well because who has $70 to spend on water? $70 dollars can get you probably 20 cases of water at Costco but a LoveShackFancy Stanley at that price is somehow just as appealing.

Overconsumption Rules

Although Stanley cups might look like a blender and are heavy like a five-pound weight, they are getting the job done. One of these water bottles should suffice but that is how the companies reel you in. Once you have the water bottle in one color, how can you not buy them all?

There are metallic options, neon colors, monotone colors, glitter and pink or black and sleek. Stanley Cup has collabs with some great companies like Barbie, Lionel Messi and of course LoveShackFancy.

And when it comes to this, size matters. 20 oz, 32 oz, 40 oz? How ever will you choose?
