We have all been there at least once this week. In fact, there is a high chance that you are reading this article there. Located in the center of campus, the HUB Robsen Center provides every student a little piece of heaven. This is why we love the HUB.
It’s open 24/7
Whether or not you have an exam, you have been sexiled, or you have to meet up for a group presentation, you can always count on the good old HUB. No matter the hour, weather, or situation, the HUB is always there with open arms. Sorry, Journey!
Hospitality
Burritos, hoagies, pizza, and panda, oh my! Not only does the HUB offer us the conveniences of grabbing a bite between classes or catching up with some friends over lunch, but it also caters to us. No matter what you are feeling you can get all types of cuisine at the HUB.
There are many student centers in the Big 10, and we might not be the largest, but not one of them is as special as the HUB. They don’t have the top-grossing Starbucks in the world (yeah, we do)!
You can sleep there without judgment
We all know that none of us are getting enough sleep and we all respect that. Only in college can you walk through a building, see a kid sleeping, and continue on your way without judgment. The best thing about sleeping in the HUB is the fact that its chairs are so comfortable, especially when you push them together.
It is the home to some amazing student organizations
THON, Valley, University Park Undergraduate Association, and the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments, just to name a few, all reside in the HUB. The best thing about having these organizations in central campus is that you can just walk up to their offices and learn more about them.
What are some of the reasons that you love the HUB? Comment below and let us know!
